Integrated Therapies

What are Integrated Therapies?

Integrated therapies add an extra dimension of care to Minnesota Hospice’s commitment to nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. These non-invasive, holistic practices do not replace the medical, social, or spiritual care of the hospice team. Rather, they work with the total care of the interdisciplinary team to promote comfort and wholeness for both patients and their families.

Integrated therapies are provided by massage and music therapists. These services are available, by referral, to home and facility patients throughout the Minnesota Hospice service area.

Hospice – Affirms life, but never denies death. Recognizes dying as a normal process of life. Honors wishes. Offers choices. Brings commitment and compassion. Strengthens families. Is about faith, hope and caring.

“We do not remember days, we remember moments.”

Cesar Pavese

“People die, but love does not die.
It is recycled from one heart,
from one life, to another.”

Harold S. Kushner
